Tri-Solfen is a combination pain relief and wound care agent for use in sheep undergoing mulesing. Developed by Animal Ethics in 2004-5, it contains 2 topical local anaesthetic agents (Lignocaine and Bupivicaine) to numb the wound, a vasoconstrictor (Adrenalin) to minimise bleeding, and an antispetic agent (Cetramide) to prevent infection of the wound.
