UNiREC began as a corporate picnic planner developing games and activities to enhance the family day at company outings. They assembled a team of enthusiastic and experienced teachers, developed creative and exciting program of field games & activities and provided an abundance of quality prizes. Providing the "best" quickly launched UNiREC, from one picnic in 1974, for the Cross & Shield Activities Club in New York, to a hundred picnics in a few short years. Today they are pleased to coordinate and produce hundreds of events throughout the country.
