Willits - A suspected drunk driver was arrested after his vehicle going north crashed above an embankment along Highway 101 close to Willits early Thursday, reports said.

Emergency officials identified the suspect as 24-year-old Justin Joseph Lee. A passing ambulance discovered the accident at about 2:25 a.m. The wreck was found at the south side of Cal Fire Howard Forest Station.

Tustin – The southbound exit of the Interstate 5 Freeway was closed down to traffic after a two-car crash happened Friday, reports said.

According to reports, the California Highway Patrol shut down the exit at 7 a.m. for further investigation of a two-car crash that happened in the area. It is expected to be closed until 10 a.m.

Santa Rosa – The names of the Honda sedan driver and the male victim involved in a crash at Santa Rosa Avenue were not yet released, reports said.

La Habra – A driver smashed his vehicle into a power pole Wednesday and was arrested on suspicion of DUI, police said.

Police officers went to the scene about 2:20 a.m. at Lambert Road and Cypress Street after receiving a report about the accident, reports quoted La Habra police Sgt. Jeff Baylos saying.

Rancho Cucamonga – A car crash happened Friday in Rancho Cucamonga, killing the driver and injuring a passenger after their vehicle went over the shoulder, rolled and knocked off a light pole onto the freeway, reports said.

The accident occurred around 5:14 a.m. past the exit of Archibald Avenue, reports quoted California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs saying.

Bennett Valley Road – The driver of a red Ford Mustang fled after the car crashed and burned on the south rural stretch Thursday, reports said.

The crash occurred about 5:30 p.m., close to 6600 Bennett Valley Road. According to preliminary reports, the driver ran off after the accident.

Landrover, MD --- A BMW crashed into a Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food chain in suburban Washington, Monday, killing the driver and injuring four others, reports said.

Boyle Heights – A woman driver was killed in a fiery auto collision in Boyle Heights Friday morning, reports said.

Initial police findings have stated that the woman driver’s vehicle was struck by a speeding car causing the fatal accident.

Hyde Park – Authorities have found out that the woman driver who knocked down a tree in Hyde Park killing three women is an unlicensed driver, reports said.

Officials have said that the driver, Tenina Calhoun, a resident of Moreno Valley, was driving at West Florence Avenue when she crashed into a tree killing three of the five car occupants.

HAMPTON --- Authorities have pronounced the victim of car crash on Sunday as dead at the scene, reports said.

The victim was identified as Kameka Sharae Holliday, 24, residing at the 200 block of Eaton Street.
